WireSock Secure Connect - 3.7.1.1
Release date: 2026-09-13
Here is the new beta build of WireSock Secure Connect 3.7.1.1
Please treat it as a beta release — feedback and bug reports are welcome.
What's New
Version 3.7.1.1
New Features
- DNS search domains: connection profiles now support DNS search domains, with validation in the profile editor.
- Connection warnings in the tray: connection errors and timeouts are now reported as warning balloons from the tray icon, with updated warning icons.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Clearer connection timeout messaging and error reporting: a connection error that changes cause is now reported with the current reason, and stale statuses are cleared on recovery.
- More robust DNS configuration handling: DNS apply failures are reported and retried, settings are cleaned up on teardown, and invalid DNS entries are handled consistently.
- Kill Switch: improved network lock filtering around the WireGuard endpoint and SOCKS5 relay; the lock state is now preserved correctly across suspend and disconnect.
- Dual-tunnel: fixed several egress-selection races that could send frames with an incoherent MAC pair.
- Extensive tunnel lifecycle hardening: fixed resource leaks and race conditions on failed start, stop, restart, and watchdog recovery paths that could lead to a stuck tunnel or process termination.
- Updated bundled .NET runtime to 10.0.11.

Major Features and Improvements for version 3.x
1. New Architecture
- A dedicated separated layer for better performance and security isolation.
- A UI client for connection control, settings configuration, and profile management. The VPN connection operates independently of the UI: the UI client can be fully closed while the connection remains active.
- Support for establishing the VPN connection during Windows startup, before user logon.
- The Virtual Adapter Mode and TCP Socket Termination settings no longer require running the application with administrator privileges.
2. KillSwitch (Network Lock)
- KillSwitch can be configured to block all traffic when the VPN connection is lost, preventing any data leaks.
3. Global Split Tunneling Settings
- Split tunneling can now be configured once globally and applied to all profiles in the application.
4. New DPI Protection Options
Added advanced DPI protection using QUIC and DNS packet emulation.
AmneziaWG 2.0 support* for enhanced stealth connectivity and bypassing network restrictions.
DPI protection can be configured either globally or individually per profile.
* Note: Standard AWG 1.5
I1–I5parameters are not supported. WireSock uses its own method for configuring simulation settings in both the configuration file and the UI. See Documentation
5. New User Interface for Creating and Editing Profiles
- Supports editing profiles in a text-based format.
6. New Command-Line Interface (CLI)
- Introduced a new command-line interface supporting core commands:
connect, disconnect, import, export, anddelete profile. - The CLI enables full operation of the application without the UI.
7. New Language Support
